Only One That Knew (part one)

by Unforgiven Retniap doolb   Jan 22, 2006

Every Morning she woke up and faced the day,
Was another day she called herself strong,
But after years she was bound to break,
Because no one can fake it for so long.

Then she found a release,
Putting the razor to her wrist,
Hiding herself for so long,
She didn't think she would be missed.

But she still broke,
Saying this is the last fight,
The note was written,
But then she met him that night.

No one saw her like he did,
He saw through every smile,
He could see she was becoming weaker,
After every walking mile.

Soon he finally broke her,
Shattering all the lies,
She didn't have to tell him anything,
As he looked deeply into her eyes.

He held her so tight that night,
Wiping away each and every tear,
He cried and listened,
As she walked through each year.

The young couple became close,
He stopped her the night she was going to end her life,
He saved her from herself,
And from the dangers of a knife.
