We've known each other for so long.
You've watched me and protected me,
You were my shield,
My safe haven.
You could do no wrong in my eyes..
And if you did, it was ok.
Because you had been through such a rough time.
I have always admired
Your compassion, strength, strong will and heart.
There is a part of me
that has always seen you as a brother.
The person to run to when you're hurting.
The one who says all the right things...
Even the wrong to put a smile on your face.
