I Need You

by Rachel W   Jan 23, 2006

I need you like a TV needs a remote.
I love it when you hold me,
Even when you push my buttons.
I need you like a lamp needs a bulb.
The way you screw baby,
It makes my smile so bright.
I need you like a picture needs a frame.
I will protect our relationship
With my everlasting love for you.
I need you like a radio needs a power button.
The way you turn me on is so sexy.
I need you like a Dalmatian needs its spots.
Without you in my life, Jay,
My future looks weird.
I need you like heartbreak needs tears.
I hear the sadness in your voice
And it makes me cry.
But Knowing that I'm the only one you want to talk to dries my tears.
I need you like a dog needs to play fetch.
We exercise our love for each other when we kiss.
We test our love for each other when we argue.
But it always comes back positive.
I need you like an old record needs to be played.
We play fight under the covers.
We talk about our future together.
I need you like a football player needs stamina.
You've got to be in shape to live a day in our lives baby.
I need you like a school needs teachers.
I wanna learn to be the best I can be.
To you and for you baby.
You mean the world to me Papa
And I don't want to mess anything up.
I need you to be with me for the rest of my life.
I wanna get a house with you.
I wanna have a family with you baby.
I need you like you need me.
I need you like this...
