FORBIDDEN LOVE

FORBIDDEN LOVE

From the very moment we met I know our love cannot be
We can’t love each other; our hearts are no longer free
If we have only met in an earlier time, it could be me and you
If only I knew our paths will cross, I would surely wait for you

Now it is too late and reality tears my world and breaks my heart
To know that I have cared so much to this person I am so far apart
I feel so empty and so deprived of loving the person I really love
How can I put an end to this craziness of wanting you for me to have?

How can I erase the memories we shared together as friends or more?
Tell my heart to stop beating for you when it is your love it beats for
It is so hard to just ignore what is in my heart and in my troubled mind
When being with you I find happiness that anywhere I can never find

We have a forbidden love, no one else can understand but you and me
Loving each other day by day but sharing a love that nobody can see
Everybody knows we cannot love each other like how we both love now
That's why keeping it hidden to those people who love us is our greatest vow

Wow,that was so hearfelt love. I think you honestly pushed through the emotion you were feeling. And the rhyming went well.
