She's My Purpose

You're just the girl
I've been looking for my whole life
I know that god has a purpose for me
and I've realized what that is,

My purpose in this world
was never to play pro basketball
and just be rich and famous,
and throw money around like it was nothing,

It wasn't to become a lawyer
and have lots of money
and be all stuck up like most people
it wasn't to be someone big,

My purpose in this world
is to please her
to do right by her
to cherish her and
give her the world,

To make her my world
to make her my everything
and my number one priority
to show her what real love feels like,

My purpose is to make her happy
and never allow her to be sad
to never allow her to shed a tear
to make her smile for no reason at all,

But most of all,
my purpose in this world
was to love her.
