Temple Of Misory

by Brittany   Jan 25, 2006

Inside this temple of misery
The darkness from shadows
Blends into the bleeding tapestry
Beside tainted walls that whisper vows.

Shattered dreams of devastation reflect
Through the broken glass of mirrors
With pieces of torn imagery lose respect
Creating the distortion of a hateful fear

Stepping across the tiles of devastation
Gripping the rail of painful regrets
The salute to a Prozac nation
Within the temple of misery's Dept's

No sight throughout the window of blindness
Behind the drapes with nothing to bare
Life then grows to become less
When lost within an empty stare

A home built upon the grave of agony
The damned temple of misery
