Why O Why

by Athan   Jan 25, 2006

I gave her a rose, and picked off the thorns.
I gave her beautfiul pink unicorn
I wrote her a poem, titled I love you
I wrote her a song, and played the guitar to.
I gave her a kiss on her cheek, not her mouth
I asked her dad, before we ever went out.
I wished upon a star, to guide her through life
I gave her my love, to let her know she was mine
I gave her space, some time alone
I gave her comfort, when she stayed sick at home
I gave her a massage, when she was in pain
I gave her a beautfil,long, golden chain
I gave her a laugh, when she needed it the most
I gave her confidence, so she can boast
I gave her a ring, to show that i cared
I gave her a picture, to show im always there
But then one day, it all fell apart
She left me there, with a shattered heart
She threw away my rose, but kept his which had thorns
She kept his pet snake, but gave away my unicorn
She published my poem, and said it was from him
She made money off my song, and said it was from Tim.
He kissed her on the lips, the fisrt chance he had
He cussed out and spat on, her everloving dad
He wished upon a star, but only for himself
He forced her to love him, not caring what she felt
He crowded her constantly, and said he feared to be alone
He never babysat her, when she was sick at home
He never massaged her, when she was feeling pain
He gave her a bracelet, and sold my golden chain
He never made her laugh, for he was really mean
He never told her words, that would highen her selfesteem
She gave him my ring, and he asked for more
She tore up my photo, and threw it on the floor
Now im here, without her by side,
Asking myself, Why, o Why

Wow, This is a really good poem and I can really feel the emotion in it. Is it true? If so, keep your head up, one day a girl will truly appreciate all you do and won't do all that stuff she did to you. The right one is out there for you. Great job, I give it a 5/5
