There

by Samatha   Jan 25, 2006

There she sat cold & shivering
the blazing sun blanketing her body
not a one person could see
the pain that lyes so deep
a single tear rolled down her cheek
the only relief to the thirst within
Thoughts of the crave plagued her mind
as confusion settled of what became
understanding was a mere hope
in realization it was all for joke
pick up and pushed back down
memories replayed and words re-said
over again if surrounded by them
who said she wouldn't survive
louder and louder till unbearable to hear
she busted with one loud scream
and he, the one with the smile
opened arms gently embraced
with the warmth she always dreamed
