Things are good now
because of what I've been through
love heartache pain
oh baby you have no clue

now I'll tell u about
some things in the past
hopefully you'll listen
because these things last

a little girl's heart began to die
until one day she met that special
guy

this boy was funny
this boy was nice
this boy made a mark
in my little black heart

they fell in love
and were going on strong
until one day
everything went wrong

we split apart
but friends we stayed
its better that way
and friends we'll stay

mom and dad fight
and i hate it everyday
but what can i do?
it sucks, what can i say...

I'm not rich
and sometimes i wish i was
but then again i love my imperfect life
even if it does have some flaws

music keeps me sane
music keeps me alive
music is freaking awesome
you can ask all my guys

i get my love
from all my friends
they wont ever leave
they'll be there till the end

pain is something i know
something i live with
pain is the thing that gives you strength
to get you out of that ditch

"what doesn't kill you
makes you stronger"
and all i have to do
is stay a little longer

life'll change
life'll get better
but i still don't see it
will i ever?

I'm stronger now
and also tougher
but to be this way
i had to suffer

a knife i took
to my wrists to slit
but this wasn't right
this just didn't fit

i know this poems long
but you'll have to have read
that i like to be writing
instead of being dead
