Secret Affection

Just about every thought I have is about you,
And I go over our conversations each day,
Never before have had I felt like I do
Everything about you takes my breath away.
Life is so much sweeter with you around,
Love is significant, because it's for you
Everyday I feel blessed for what I found.
I now know feelings that I never knew.
Looking back I'm so happy you're here,
Over time love had become only pain,
Vaguely, I remember each lonely tear
Each time was a challenge to love again.
You revived my every hope of love and perfection,
And for once I'm not ashamed of my secret affection.
