Black Blood

by Kat   Jan 27, 2006

Darkness consumes me,
For I am of mortality.

Taste of copper and bleeding strong,
For I have tried being brave yet am still so wrong.

The wound sears like a hot summer day,
For these wicked memories I feel twist away.

Life is petty, fragile and short,
For what we attempt of any sort.

My world so easily ripped by pain,
For I question if I was ever sane.

So let the darkness consume me,
For I wish to die in this misery.
