Simple Pleasures

by Charlie   Jan 27, 2006

Melodies tinkling, mixing with love
As she stares out into blank space
Her imagination creating palaces, jungles, and him
He strides out, a flower in his hand
Extending and leaning toward her
Moving away, the scent of him lingering,
. . . his flower tucked behind her ear.
