Red Dyed Carpet

by Alicia   Jan 28, 2006

Fear in the shadows,
Air so thick,
Tossing and turning,
Is this night a trick?

Blood on the walls,
Creatures on the floor,
And screaming coming,
From under the door,

Darkness and laughter,
Pain and crying,
It's too bad,
That I'm not dying,

I cover my head,
At the sound of voices,
They never leave me,
Any choices,

I grabbed the gun,
From under my bed,
Pulled the trigger,
The carpets dyed red.
