You Never Knew

by Dutchess   Jan 29, 2006

You never knew how much my heart longed for your love,

As we grew from eighth graders to freshmen in high school: my heart never recieved your love,

As we matured year after year, I watched as you dated triflin @ss ho*s,

You was looking for true love, when your true love was right under your nose,

I never said anything I just sat back and let you handle your own affairs,

Yet you had your women, I too had my men, but I knew deep down in my heart, YOU was the one who truly cared,

Six years have passed us by, and not one of us has yet uttered a solid word of emotion,

How many nights I silently think of you and dream of when we will make that long awaited notion,

Why? Why have I waited all these years to finally spill my heart out to you?,

Well the the truth is, It hurts me to think of all the years that have passed us by, and how you never knew.
