Grew Cold

by Cheyanne   Feb 2, 2006

Chills could run down your spine
fog could appear after each hot breath
questions in your eyes try to guess
though you grew cold I stay by

Never known warm entanglement
I stay by unable to do a thing
but still here...just in case you need it
always here though you grew cold to me

My heart cries for your touch once more
My life dies without your loving soul
expected me to love the same way though
everything but how I feel about you dies...
with my heart you're holdin', I told you lies

I got few things to do on my list
some done with what I want and need
but only one thing's missing...
you in my arms for eternity

I look at you and to myself I think
"not sure to what I hold
no reason to stay by,
I love you is all I know
loving you though you grew cold"
I look away to hide tears running after a blink

My heart cries for your touch once more
My life dies without your loving soul
expected me to love the same way though
everything but how I feel about you dies...
with my heart you're holdin', I tell myself lies
