For Sonja (part 30)

From the moment I saw your face
You stole my heart and hid it away,
From the moment we met I was lost
And now I can't find my heart again.

You took my freedom and I don't want it back again.
As long as I have this yearning I can hold on,
But from now until we meet again I will have to wait.
I don't mind so long as you don't forget,
That it is my freedom you have kept.

Every day I now see you is a day I try to forget,
But It's hard to run from the past and live on in shame.
Moments I share with you, I eventually regret,
Although when I'm with you time is still too fast.

I don't know whats going to happen next,
I'm not even sure I care.
I just want to carry on living this way.
You holding my heart and freedom until I eventually take them back someday.
