Cupid's Advice

by cupidschild   Feb 3, 2006

Cupid caught me today,
his golden curls and cherub flush
were glowing with what he had to say
and I couldn't help but to blush

"I know the truth child,
you've been a rather bad girl,
With all your daydreams running wild,
and your night dreams are a whirl,

of pillows, sheets, blankets and skin
bathed in a beautiful smell,
of kisses and grasps coming from him"
(my, my, cupid knew me well!)

I listened to his angel voice
as he recounted my every desire
"Now, child, you make the choice
and I can start the fire."

"I've seen the way you look at him
and the way he looks at you,
I see the thoughts starting to swim,
yes, I can see right through."

I made no defense, I'd been exposed,
the seraph child had made his case ,
"Well the only choice, I suppose,
is tell him to his face."

Cupid said "Your choice is smart
but, the solution you already knew
it just took me to open your heart,
and give you a different view."

The boy angel then flew away
and I heard him giggle sweet,
"Child have a blessed day!
It was a pleasure for us to meet!"
