Time Is Not A Luxury

by Maegan   Feb 3, 2006

What's wrong with you?
Why can't you decide?
You don't know this
But I finally cried tonight

I heard what you
Told your friend today
He told me you asked
Him something while
Yall were lifting weights

I don't have
A certain impression
I just wish you would
Let me hear your confession

Whether its true
Or what you think
You feel I really need to know
If its fake or if its real

You are like a contender
In this knockout match of love
All my friends think you come in last
But to me you are number one

Sometimes I wonder
Am I at the top of your list
If I am not then you
Should be warned
I am someone you will miss

I am the one that
Can sweep you off your feet
Even though I might be six inches
Short of full reach

You are six foot or more
But you are bound to fall
Because you know in your heart
I am the one you love after all

If you just bend down a little
And make it easy for me
I will mesmerize your mind and soul
And give you a kiss so sweet

So if the confusion you possess
Ever lifts and your mind clears
Grab me, speak, and have
Nothing to fear

I will treat your heart like glass
Able to break at any point
And I will lift you up so high
You won't have a choice

To love me or to hate me
Is ultimately your decision
But you must remember to
Use carefully revision

Because of your awe full timing
Which really doesn't exist
I have had plenty of time to love you
And a lot more to resist

This has happened because you Think one of your luxuries is time
But sooner or later I won't
Want your heart anymore
But you will want mine.
