Slip away

It is such a cold and snowy day
I sit here trying to wish you away
I cant take the pain of not seeing you another day.

It has been 5 months since I held you tight
my heart feels like it was just last night

Why cant I get your sexy smile out of my sight?

The last time I saw you my heart skipped a beat
I tried to stand tall but my knees want weak
I wanted to say I Love You but I could not speak.

I wish I could tell you what you mean to me
What I would give to have you next to me
It hurt so bad that there is no more you and me.

Still we are friends and I know you love me
I have carved your name in my lovers tree
I just pray that again some day that you and me could be we.

I will love you dear till I pass away
I will hold you dear to me everyday
I will never let my love for you ever slip away
