I Know I Can Take it

by Tori   Feb 6, 2006

I believe in our good times.

I've yet to stop crying before falling asleep.
Just wondering 'bout you and me.
All I do is sit and stare,
Sitting in this worn-out chair.

I believe in all we could achieve.

What did I do?
I've never felt more true.
Now that you're gone I've got no one to run to.
No one to hold me when I'm scared.
No one to lean on.

I believe we could make it.

You're the one I miss,
Your warm touch, soft kiss.
No matter what I do,
I'm still in love with you.
I promise you, I've tried to stop.

I think my heart can take it.

I had so much hope for us.

Now I'm left to say;
I believe in my good times.
I believe I can make it.
I know I can take it.

How 'bout you?
