As Life Goes On

by Alex Holehouse   Feb 6, 2006

A hug and a kiss,
Wouldnt go a miss,
Right now on this gloomy day,
If I was with you,
I could surely kiss you,
And wish all your worries away,
With words of love,
And a hint of passion,
All of which is now the fashion,
So come with me,
Give me your hand,
Let me take you,
To the promised land,
Id whisk you away,
To a far away place,
Where no one would know us,
By the looks on our face,
Id pull you close,
And whisper in your ear,
Those soft gentle words,
You have longed to hear,
Id say to you,
You are the one,
I love you more,
As life goes on.
