The Key

by Kailey   Feb 7, 2006

Gently touching the picture frame,
I think quietly.
Things won't be the same,
you left so suddenly.

You left my heart in shame,
without you I'm not whole.
Do you think this is a game?
You stole my entire sole.

If you really don't love me,
maybe you should go.
What is left to be?
If you don't need me so.

And what about my heart?
You still hold the key.
You tore my world apart,
now would you just leave me be.
