Without you...

by William Woodrow   Feb 9, 2006

Without you...
-I'm a ship with no sail,
captain Ahab with no whale...
-I'm a car missing parts,
an engine that won't start...
-I'm a book with blank pages,
a bottle of wine that never ages...

Without you...
-I'm a canvas with no paint,
a runner growing faint...
-I'm a dreamer with no dreams,
a eagle wanting to soar with no wings...
-I'm a lost lover with no hope,
a "yes"man who can only say "nope".

Without you...
-I'm a spaceship crashing down,
a funny clown wearing a frown....
-I'm lost in a world of my own,
singing off pitch, singing out of tone....
-My world will come to an end,
because I now I lost my lover, my best friend.
