In a land where all is pretend
where theres once upon a time
where carriages turn to pumpkins
where people speak in rhyme

there once was a handsome prince
he was different from any other
fell in love with a simple girl
didn't realise due to her cover

when the clock struck on twelve
her beautiful dress remained only rags
outside she left a glass slipper
slightly hidden beneath the guests bags

the prince searched high and low
his princess no where to be found
only a tiny amount of fairy dust
was scattered along the ground

he made visits to every household
every young maiden to try the slipper
last to be tried was but a simple maid
who had the matching shoe to fit her

the prince says shes his angel
now how could this possibly be
I'm just a paper bag princess
who'd want an ever after with me?

*tell me what you think please guys it would mean alot*
