First love

I had this friend
way long ago
he used to love me
he told me so

He told me we would always be friends
he told me he would always be there
now there's nothings left of us
and he doesn't even care

i wanted to be friends forever
we used to be in love
now the heartbreak is real
it fits me like a glove

he was my first love
and my very first crush
a boy to make me smile
a kid to make me blush

as i sit here on my bed
i wipe away the tears
i wonder if we'll be like that again
and if he'll take away all my fears

it might take a while
but it's OK
I'll be ready and willing
on that special day.
