The Witches, Conclusion

by demolitionmegan   Feb 11, 2006

"What are you doing?" The bad witch pulled away
And the sad witch stood crying, with nothing to say
Then with a brave, practiced smile, the sad witch began
"I wanted to tell you, you are my very best friend."

The bad witch bit her lip and forced out a sigh
Then her knees buckled and she started to cry
The sad witch knelt beside her and shared in her pain
Though the bad witch cursed bitterly, "You cry in vain."

The common people in town began to gather nearby
The sad witch had a plan the bad witch could not defy
The sad witch led her out of the city of her own accord
The bad witch knew not what she was being led toward

The sad witch helped her escape and for this she would burn
And as for the bad witch, is but the cruel fate, "Never to return."
