Seasoned

by Tanya Miller   Feb 14, 2006

There are times when I think I can no longer hold on
Just a look or a touch from you and that feeling is gone
You give me the strength to love and to feel
You have shown me the value of that and that it is real
You taught me; you are not weak if you cry
I have learned to trust again, that love is not a lie
You have proven that a touch can still send chills
That a lifetime with one person can still be a thrill
There are times in our lives when life seem so bleak
That is when we have each other to hold; when we feel weak
The strength we give each other is so strong
There is nothing we can't conquer to keep moving on
When we are in trouble we look for each others hand
We try to hold and comfort, to help one another stand
I love you unconditionally; I will seal it with a kiss
You are my one and only, I promised you this
One day we will walk hand and hand, heart and heart
It is a dream to come true, for love is a seasoned art

I must say that I thought the title was terrifice. What a way to describe love - seasoned - there's a lot of truth in that. Nice job.
