You once gave me light,
and your light once
saved me.
It saved me from the night

The night of darkness
The night of pain
The night of misery
The night of shame

The night of torture
The night itself
The night of pleading
The night i never felt

BUT....
My light, it soon turned to cold,
dead darkness.....when
I found out you had been untrue
and you were in love with my best friend

Now I'm alone in the pitch black night
No one to hold me
