Forgive and Forget

I wrote this poem for my class in school.

We've been friends, far to long.

Can I look pass what happen,
and move on?

I don't know if I can look pass that you hate me. But now you want to say were best friends.

I didn't know you could hate someone, and that person still be your friend.

I can maybe forgive, but not forget.

Weve been friends to long, to forget about the memories we shared.

I just wish that would of never happen.

What happen changed everything? I know it happen awhile ago. But I cant forget about the pass sometimes.

How can one thing do this much damage?
