Shadow of a kiss.

by Edalia   Feb 15, 2006

Its shadow dawns on my heart.
Into my head spins its idea,
And I can\'t imagine living any longer, lacking its precious presence.
I need to feel the valuable essence;
Near me, on me.
By a moonlit night near the sea,
A magical atmosphere surrounds us,
And there are none but the two of us.
The skies are laid accordingly,
And I can finally act my dreams freely.
I\'ll imagine that you love me,
I\'ll imagine I still love you.
And then, I\'ll steal it from you.
Sweetly, and harshly,
Because so it should be.
Your arms around my waist,
My arms around your neck,
They all promised it would be a heck.
So I believe, but I want to try it.
I need to know for sure,
I need to get it from yee.
Left in a sea of tears,
I felt the pain already too near.

Banished from a world, where I was never queen,
I used to imagine I had power,
And my smile widened with the thought of my being the Ruleress,
Always Empress and Mistress.
It hurts to know, against you never had I a spear.
But of you always had I fear.

I close my eyes once again,
I can see your figure,
I still feel the pain.
Lingering devotion,
Unchanging emotion,
Its shadow still dawns on my heart,
Even though we are so far apart.
Even though you have already nearly said no.
I just think:That there could always be a second shot.
