Until the End

Until the End
By: Jessica Anderson

There's a certain thought that fills my head,
when I think about you,
it's a thought that makes me smile wide,
even if I'm feeling blue.

It's the thought of being together,
just you and me alone,
not a soul in the world caring,
that neither one of us are home.

We sit together by the beach,
or in the middle of a park,
or sometimes in the rain,
and sometimes in the dark.

The spots change every time,
but the memory still comes through,
actions speak louder than words,
when I am with you.

Though my wish sounds corny,
it's to be with you for now,
just to sit and stop time together,
but I don't know how.

I know things don't last forever,
we might break-up one day,
one of us will do one thing,
while the other goes a seperate way.

But even if that happens,
I'll still want to be friends,
so that we're always civil,
until the very end.
