Two Black Roses and A Bloody Note

Everyone thought she was nuts,
Just another goth freak,
Everyone could see the cuts,
But only thought of her as a geek.

She loved only one guy,
And he loved her too,
He would never make her cry,
Because his love was so true.

One day they got in a fight,
He thought they should take a break,
And not see each other that night,
She thought it was a mistake.

She thought he wanted it to end,
And that she done something wrong,
He was her only true friend,
That made her feel strong.

She picked up the razor blade,
And put it on a vein,
Everything she saw began to fade,
And she couldn't feel anymore pain.

Her boyfriend walked in the front door,
He was calling out her name,
He found he lying on the floor,
Then took all the blame.

Beside her was a bloody note,
On the front he saw his name,
He wanted to see what she wrote,
Hoping it was only a game.

"I'm sorry it had to be this way,
I couldn't take it anymore,
But you will be okay,
Just please walk out the door."

His eyes were all in tears,
He had never felt so bad,
After all of these years,
She was the best thing he ever had.

That night he also took his life,
Because he loved her with all his heart,
He picked up a knife,
So that they would never be apart.

Here is each of you a black rose,
Of course it stands for death.
Now everyone knows,
You both took your last breathe.
