Chemistry

by Unknown2Thyself   Feb 18, 2006

In the beginning the chemistry was perfect,
The chemical balance was flawless.
Then you added another chemical,
This element started to make a chemical imbalance.

Suddenly the chemistry we had went up in flames,
And all our hard work went down the drains.
Washed away with the fill of tears,
Swallowed whole by the disease you brought in.

So many times you said nothing could destroy the potion,
Yet one wrong element shattered everything we created.
I'm now trying to find someone else with the same chemistry we had,
But I'm finding what we had was a once in a life time thing.
