Tears In the Rain

by Kara   Feb 19, 2006

The Rush of the rain poring down
God must have created that sound
To sooth our souls at the end of the day
To wash all the worlds pain away

The end of the world’s chaos ends with lightning
Lights the sky electrifying and frightening
Gifts from the Lord pore down in beads
Satisfying our hearts and all our needs

Washes away all the bad memories and heartache
Leaves joyous rainbows and sunshine at daybreak
Floods the streets with perfect puddles
Where you can here the children’s splashes and giggles

Little droplets of Gods tears for us all
Powerful is the sight of his rainfall
Time stops as the miracles fall from the skies
Thank God I can see his wonders with my eyes

Relieves us of our stress and reminds us
That his love for us is endless
That his love, like the rain, is countless
And that he is so amazing that it leaves me breathless

Even when we run away he remains
For God is even more beautiful than the rains
He is always there when I come back to his side
But when the rain comes I know, because of me, he has cried
