Falling faith and dimming lights

by LostInConfusion   Feb 20, 2006

I wish you were here.
Although I know you are physically near.

With her on your side.
The only thing that withers is my pride.

Thinking of you fulfills my heart.
At teh same time tears me apart.

Maybe you just need a bit of time.
The wait would be worth the sense of sublime.

Yet I can already feel the pain.
This is when i question the gain.

To wonder how long he will be.
Is like asking what my life is worth to me.

To put a value on a lost love.
Is like doubting the faith of a dove.

So pure and yet so fragile.
Yet, so is knowing he needs a while

Realizing how much i could have been for him.
As my faith falls, my love is about to dim.
