After days of frustration and confusion,
You've decided to leave me here, by myself,
You trust me to cope, and not do anything stupid,
But darling its hard, so very hard..

You used to always be there,
You were never too busy for me,
You'd make time to talk to me,
No matter what you were doing,
But now the barriers have been put up,
And you tell me I'll have to cope alone for a while,
Its easier said then done my love,
Without you I really am nothing.

A day without laughter is a day that is wasted,
But a second without you, makes the world crash down,
Not a smile will appear on my sad, lonely face,
Not a word from my quivering lips.

As the tears race down my cheeks,
I remember what you told me,
That you'd always love me, and think about me,
And someday we'd be together,
and you'd take all my pain away,
Everything would be OK,
And you'd protect me from my fears,
You'd wipe from my eyes, my tears.

I'll lay here waiting for you to return,
I know it wont be long, but it feels like forever,
Its OK though because I'm never really alone,
When you're always right here in my heart.
