Right Here

by alfie   Feb 21, 2006

I get lost inside your eyes,
Which are the deepest of sapphire blue,
The secrets and depth of feelings they hold,
Are a substantial part of you.

I gaze into the pools,
Wishing I knew some thoughts within,
They swirl like ghosts haunting you,
I wish that you would let me in.

I wish I could free you,
From the secrets and pain you see,
Whatever is killing you,
Is also killing me.

To see you in this much secret pain,
Tears me heart apart,
And knowing you don't want me to help you,
Makes me feel so far.

I tried me hardest to break through,
And make you let me in,
But you insisted you were fine,
and better feelings would soon be setting in.

So I told you that I would wait right here,
For you are everything to me,
My heart, my soul, my one true love,
So in the end, right by your side is where I'll be.
