Waiting Room (part 1)

It's impossible to ignore
that my heart is in a bore
it wants to know the feeling
it wants to be flying high

i want to be running for someone
i want to be fighting for someone
i want to be protecting someone
i want to be loving someone

but here i am in the waiting room
being patiently waiting
for some beautiful princess
to come to rescue me

love is not that easy to wait for
some days i lose hope
and feel that I'm about to give up
but my heart stays strong
and wants to belong

i see my dreams wait for me
if i was next to a girl that truly loved me
thats all i want to be
to fall in love
have you've been in love
for i know is what I'm sure

and have you ever been in love
love has caught my eye
and i won't stop until i die
and when i meet her
when I'm in love
i will stop loving her
when i forget to breathe

reading old magazines
seeing the others walk past me
they have found they new love
and even though i may not make it through
i know one day that love will come through

as I'm waiting
i know it's waiting for me
and it's waiting for you
if you think your spirit is about to break
then remember that love takes time
and takes a while

and picture me in this waiting room
maybe waiting for someone just like you
i just hope that i will be sure that i will know when love comes knocking on my door

even though i feel so hollow
I'm sure i know that love will break through
for all i want is love

i want someone to wake to
i want someone to talk to
someone who touches my soul
and gives me my life goals

i will know her smell
i will know her eyes
i will know her touch
i will know her walk
i will know her talk
i will know her laugh

it's hard to believe
that love won't come for me
if love you can hear me
hear this
that I'm waiting patiently
