Impure

by Samey   Feb 22, 2006

Fading on the fixed road to freedom, never allowed to prevail,
His life is slipping on a patch of thin ice,
Falling through the air, trying to find where he belongs,
Then impact, hit hard, realizing he doesn't,
Self esteem cracking under years of abuse,
No one would notice if he just disappeared,
Just a ghost from yesterday sucked under the cold waters,
Second lost in worlds war, first one tainted, this one impure,
Pulled in close to the surface, trapped on his throne of ice,
Can't breathe in for fear of living,
Held close to all the torment in his soul,
Voices screaming worthlessness in his ear while the water flows in,
Heart fails, blood gone cold in his system,
Laid to rest in a cold dead sea of malice,
He still can't find his worth, floating away with the current,
Even in death life haunts him,
He can see them all, his past, walking circles around him,
Getting dizzy from the spinning condemnation,
Turning a noose around his neck to choke him with love,
Just want to see him in a state of false happiness,
So they can yet again move on to find the next damned soul,
On the journey toward death to be buried under loves deception.

I can't really pick out my favorite part. )= I loved every word. I loved the way you composed every line with such emotion. I don't know if that makes sense or not. Hope it does.

    10* With love,
