Feel You Here

by livefreebright   Feb 23, 2006

The silence through the window
The stillness of the air
Holding on to empty hands
An emotion to compare

One faint light shines
Floating through the breeze
Sweet whispers of nothing
Sets my mind at ease

If you could please
If you could please

Scratch your feelings into a disk tongiht
Leave a light on to keep it in sight
Play the chorus loud so I can sleep
This night, I will always keep

Run your fingers down to the softest point
I feel you here, please hold me near
As I break tradition tonight

Cars race the streets
Through open ears
It's just me in the shadows
You chase away my fears

The chill of winter
Lingers still
Along with a tear
I will never spill
