I like this poem because how you used the butterfly as a metaphor for love(I think that I said that right) 5/5

This is really lovely, I like the imagery and how the simple way you write ends up having much more meaning then other more complicated ways of portraying love. Nice job :)

    Hey, great poem.

    Finally free
    to fly away
    never to return
    from the light of day

That seemed to be the best verse, I don't know why, but then the verse that came after it was a little....off from the flow. I dunno..haha

Anyways, great poem 5/5, keep up the good work.

Your poem is so deep. It's wonderful to read ones like "butterfly" because it conveys not the exact meaning but the way you used words...you would really have to feel the poem first and then you'd understand...it's so beautifully written. I love it.

  • Wowwww. that was pretty wonderful.
i wish i could write like thattt.

P.S.---i'm doing a lot better. thank you for caring. =]

Hey Ruthie! Thanks so much for commenting on my poetry. But enough of that, this poem isgreat! I especially love the end when you say "without loves color it would wane & die" because I really believe that. It's beautiful my love *Smiles*
