Fade Away

by Yolanda Williams   Jan 18, 2004

I can see the serious look on your face.
As you move up and down all inside of me with such sincere and grace.

I could feel your warm skin pressed so softly and gently against mine.
When i looked into your eyes i saw a light like the sun just begining to shine.

I can remember when i felt your hand moving softly up and down my leg.
It gave me a wonderful sensation that made me want to beg and beg.

I can remember when you whispered sweet words in my ear.
I can remember you telling me you shouldn't`t worry and you shouldn't`t have to fear.

I did fear, because i knew that this sweet love that we made would soon or later fade.
Fade away like the sun does on a dark and rainy day.

The love making ended and so did we.
At first i was like this couldn't`t possibly be happening to me.

I told him "I care for you a lot and i don`t want to let you go."
He looked me dead in my face, gave me no reason, all he said was no.

After all of this i`m always alone.
I felt like i couldn't`t be with anyone else because the love of my life was gone.

I would sit in the house all day and watch the rain, and wonder does he ever feel my pain.

I told myself don`t let this get you down, because there`s always someone else around.
