Sea of heartbreak

Broken trust, broken love.
Let the rain fall from above.

Alone I stand in this cold shower.
Above me all the clouds tower.

Tears blend in with the isolated streams,
Wish this was all just a bad dream.

My broken heart makes me ill,
Cold weather brings me a chill.

Hair standing on its edge,
Take all I can to not jump over the edge.

Without you I don't deserve life,
You'veleft me full of strife.

Long to take the pills one by one,
My battle has just begun.

Try to convince myself to put them down,
As I look in the mirror and frown.

You'vemade me out to be a wreck,
Alone I stand on this ships deck.

Sways from side to side.
You drown in your own pride.

Jump to rescue you from your despair,
Only to find that yyournot really there.

In this oasis I am left by myself,
Like this poem on the shelf.

Give in to me and drown in a sea of sadness,
If only you could save me from my madness.

But you choose to go on without me,
Later you will find me at the bottom of the sea.
