Your power

by Kayla   Feb 28, 2006

Looking in your eyes,
Gives me enchantment beyond surprise.
I see in them a burning fire,
And a man who's love I desire.

Holding onto my heart,
You have the power to break it apart.
To leave it lonely: bleeding,
In a state of utter needing.

You have not let me begin to fall,
Never deserting me at all.
The power of your arms,
I know there is no harm.

Your smile is the sun,
On a dark, rainy day.
It can clear up the sky,
And keep it from being gray.

Your hands have the power,
To give me the softest touch.
You always give me a slight tingle,
Which is why I like them so much.

Your hugs are the medicine,
They change a frown to cheer.
A shiver runs through my body,
Every time I feel you near.

When you're here and by my side,
I allow concentration I no longer hide.
But when solitude approaches and catches me here,
I yearn for voices...for silence, I fear...

Yet, each time you look at me,
It's like no once else is there.
When we talk, I can tell by your words,
That you really do care.

It's through the way you touch me,
Through the things you do to me.
Looking right into your eyes,
Loving sincerity is the one thing I see.

It's through they way you smile at me,
It melts me on the spot.
Your soft warm glow touches me deep,
I cherish what I've got.

It's through the way you hold my hand,
Makes me feel complete.
A natural connection of our two souls,
Forever destined to meet.

It's through they way you kiss my lips,
Setting them on fire,
I feel my warm blood racing through my veins,
Sounding like a choir.

Every word you say strangles my heart,
I try not to break not to fall apart.
I just want to grab you and make you see,
This heart you own inside of me.

The words you say conflict with the beat,
I look through your eyes so warm and sweet.
I want to sleep inside your soul,
You make me complete you make me whole.

Your personality is fascinating and inviting,
Full of great character and wit,
Your mannerisms is highly rated,
Pleasant and courteously equipped.

Permit me to explore the world of you,
To find out if there could ever be,
A world of spiritual fulfillment,
In a world of just you and me.
