The king defends his queen

by charles   Feb 28, 2006

The opening is customary, the position well trodden the moves are subtle hidden with traps and pitfalls ,to the unexperienced the game is complex to the kibitzer it presents itself with bravado.
the transition from the opening has completed the middle takes its position ,with men on horses and foot soldiers dug in the game is set to do battle.the bishops takes aim at the queen, the king is enraged and summons his men to beat down the attackers one by one they storm the rooks walls unable to win a piece at all. and now the board clears the end is near only the kings stand with the faith full foot soldier the kings dance about while the foot soldier attempts to get across.but Alas there is no win the game is at its end stalemate
