Watching you from afar,
you made a goal;
and i knew you were my shining star.

You looked so happy,
with such a cute smile on your face,
at that very moment, my heart began to race.

I didn't know what i was feeling,
but was certain that i was willing;
willing to figure out that feeling.

I was young and confused,
my heart had already been bruised,
i knew it wasn't ready for anymore abuse.

I didn't tell anyone;
not even my best friend,
the way i felt about you.

That was in sixth grade,
now i'm older,
now i'm brave.

I opened up and told you how i feel,
i knew you wouldn't know how to deal;
deal with the way i feel.

I'm three years older now(15),
and i wonder how;
how can there be one sided love?

I care about you more than ever now,
everyday i wonder;
how?

I pray for you all the time,
and i wish;
for you to be mine.

They say "move on,"
"give it up,"
but i don't know what i'd do if you were gone.

You're the reason i go to school everyday,
but i never get the nerve to say,
"you mean the world to me!"

You let "them" walk all over me,
why can't they see,
this is between you and me.

I will wait for you;
as long as it takes you to see,
we are meant to be.

My feelings can only grow,
