Why cant i stop thinking of you

Is it me or is its you.
my day has gone by as if it didn't exist.
my body tells me to sleep but my mind cant help but think.
think of how wonderful you were to me even though life was hard for me.
you seem to shine the light with your love and i know you sent for me from the heavens above.
i try not to reminisce on that one chance we had
but my infidelities took over my brain
now everyday it feels like rain.
i don't know how to describe this horrible pain
now i cant stop thinking of you
why am i thinking about you
is it love
or another way
to get away
away from this pain
