i run my hand across the wall
walking in silence
as i head down the hall

fishing through the thoughts
running through my mind
picking out a singe one
as for it i stride
backing up closer
to what ive always had

feeling a hand run across my back
falling into place
i smile at the sight of you
in this simple race

i am shaken
at what i seem to know

a futures brightened
