Just Hold Me

by Weeping Wolf   Mar 3, 2006

Just hold me

Spirits like free winds
let us drift through this dream
Falling down
I'll cling to you like leaves
clinging to the dead trees
Flowing down
like water trickles from a stream
filled up with your tears
Running down
like soft clay mold being shaped
letting it slip through my fingers
Crashing down
like loud thunder in the darkness
let the lightning be your eyes

just hold me when I'm tired and alone
just hold me when i need a home
just hold me when I'm falling apart
just hold me...with all your heart.

Rising up
like a blood-red sunrise over the hills
showing the pain of bleeding hearts
Growing up
and learning that heartache will pass
that there is always change
Coming up
from the surface of the cold water
finally taking in the fresh air
Reaching up
toward the rays of the caring sun
may it take me away from here

just hold me when I'm tired and alone
just hold me when i need a home
just hold me when I'm falling apart
just hold me...with all your heart.

Hanging on
To my hope thats on its last strings.
Holding on
To you like I'm something broken.

just hold me and just know this....
there will always be someone here for you.
Forever for you. Forever for me.
