Too young to see

by Liss   Jan 20, 2004

She has this emptiness inside her, and longs to fill it.
She'll do anything it takes to feel loved.
So young, so beautiful.
Trying to make a commitment she's not ready for.
A life long responsibility.
Can she handle that,
to take care of herself as well as something so delicate?
So many dreams, so many goals.
She is a child herself and unaware of the kind of struggles.
Her desire is more precious than anything,
but is desired too soon.
She has so much time.
She doesn't understand that there is no need to rush life.
The moment will come when she's ready.
And when it does, she'll know.
But as for now, she needs to see,
just how much growing up there has to be.
